As I mentioned the other day, I had plenty of time to read while I was traveling! The second book I finished on this trip was Luke Atkinson’s Blood Oath (No Man’s Land Book One).
The very definition of “magic Western,” I picked this one up to try because a) I love Westerns, and magic, and I especially love it when the two are combined, and b) I’m currently writing in this genre, and I want to familiarize myself with stuff out there that might be similar to what I’m writing.
It’s a Western, and has that Western novel feel, but there’s witches, wizards, elves, dwarves, vampires, and lots of other magic creatures running around. I greatly enjoyed it, and will be reading the next one very soon!
